June Activites

Tuesday June 24th:  LINC Center visit - 862 South Main Street, Brigham City (behind Taco Time) 10:30am - For about an hour we visit with the clients and usually have lunch at Taco Time afterwards.

Thursday June 26th: Spring Provider Conference - Alta View High School (11055 South Hawk Highway (1000 East), Sandy, Utah) - 9:00am-5:00pm.  This is a BIG Resource Fair for Providers, Support Coordinators and Division of Services for People with Disabilities staff.

Saturday June 28th: Puppy Workshop at Alan Lang & Charlene Palmer residence (4529 South Gilead Way, Salt Lake City) Stu Wahrenbrock, Puppy Program Manager and Becca Gordon from Canine Companions for Independence will be on hand to answer questions and give valuable information to those that attend.  Check in is from 9:30am-10:00am with the Workshop beginning promptly at 10:00am.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided and afterwards, if you would like to stay, Alan will be cooking brats and burgers.

Directions can be found on GOOGLE or MAP QUEST. For folks coming from the NORTH, feel free to meet at the Kaysville Park ‘n Ride (turn right at the end of the Kaysville Exit - #328) by 8:30am and we can carpool and caravan from there. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend – Graduates, Puppy Raisers, Puppy Sitters, Applicants and those wanting to find out more about Canine Companions are welcome. It is definitely worth the time. See you there!

Friday July 4th: FRIDAY, JULY 4th – Chapter President, Glenna Foremaster has made arrangements for the Wasatch Champions to have a booth at the Plain City Fourth of July Celebration. If you would like to help man the booth, please let Glenna know. More information will follow.
